Many speculate the moon landing was faked. People say this because the US was in a space race with Russia, who was their rival at the time. It’s probable they wanted to assert their dominance as a country by being the first to get to the moon, even if this was not probable. Here are some reasons as to why the moon landing seems faked:
The Lighting is Off
In the video of the first man walking on the moon, some shadows go in different ways. In the photos below, note how the shadows of certain objects are not going in the same direction.
A Stage Camera Can Be Seen in an Astronaut’s Helmet
There’s a strange reflection seen in one of the astronauts helmet. This reflection is still unexplained. It is shaped oddly like a stage light.
You Can See a Rock With a “C” Engraved On It
In the background of one of the photos, you can see a strange rock. The abnormal thing about this rock is there is a bold C engraved into the rock. A lot of the time when there is repetitive props in movies or plays, like rocks, trees and bushes, they are lettered or numbered on the bottom. On a diagram of the stage design they write the letters where each prop should be. The C looks like a stage marking. It has been debated as to whether or not this is an original image, but this is still part of the theory. The photo below was actually found on a website with an image of the same or a similar looking rock from the moon landing video without a C. This part of the conspiracy is very debated. Many believe the photo has been edited.
Wind on the Moon?
On the moon there is no oxygen. No oxygen equals no wind. But for some reason in the moon landing video, the American flag is literally waving. Look for yourself:
The Ground is Undisturbed
The astronauts described the surface of the moon as being comparable to wet sand. Their footprints, light in comparison to that of the weight of a space shuttle, left marks in the surface of the moon. Yet when the shuttle landed, it left no trace on the surface.
The Sky is Starless
On Earth you can see stars quite vividly with the naked eye. Through the atmosphere, some light is distorted. This is actually a common issue for many astronomers and telescope enthusiasts. The atmosphere makes seeing the already faint stars even harder. Telescopic imaging is handicapped by the atmosphere’s interference with viewing. This all considered, the moon has no atmosphere. On the moon the stars should be more vivid than anywhere on Earth. There’s no blue sky to hide the stars or a smudgy atmosphere full of gases to cloud our view and to distort the light. Upon further inspection of the footage from the moon landing, you can see that there is not a single glimmer of light in the dark sky.
Though many forms of evidence support the moon landing being faked, personally I believe the moon landing did actually occur. Many of the supporting details of this conspiracy can be debunked. That does not mean the suspicions proposed in this conspiracy are unfounded or invalid. It is always right to question the world around you.
